Two groups of Christians will awaken in a fright on the day of the alien arrival.
Studies in the Bible unveil God’s use of language. He has a made a clear distinction within His people between different groups. When He speaks of Jacob that group is not Israel, yet both groups are His people. God makes a distinction between the groups to bring clarity in His prophecies and in turn, bring more people into a deep relationship with Him.
God’s people comprise of three groups:
It is not a surprise that God’s people comprise of three groups. The number three signifies a divine marker.
The LORD God prophesied through the prophet Isaiah that only a remnant of God’s people will return to Him. God’s people, into the 21st century, are all the West, Western Europe and the Jews. The count of this group is approximately 900 million people, and yet, only a remnant will return. Why?
“A remnant will return—a remnant of Jacob—to the Mighty God. Though your people, O Israel, be like the sand of the sea, only a remnant will return. Destruction has been decreed, overflowing with righteousness. For the Lord GOD of Hosts will carry out the destruction decreed upon the whole land” (Isaiah 10:21-23).
Verses 21-23 do not refer only to the Jews. Their population today is less than 16 million worldwide. When the kingdom of Israel split in 975 B.C., two houses formed: the house of Judah and the house of Israel. The house of Judah was comprised of only two tribes: Judah and Benjamin. The house of Israel comprised of the remaining ten tribes: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Gad, Asher, Dan, Naphtali and Joseph. The house of Israel was considerably larger and more powerful than the house of Judah.
Into the 21st century, the house of Joseph has expanded considerably to form all of the English-speaking people. The ancient roots of the West and Western Europe are forgotten. They remember only living around the Caucasus Mountains, hence, their reference to being Caucasian. This hidden identity will surface during a time of great distress. They will awaken in a fright. Repentance will be their saving grace. Only a remnant will return to the God of Israel and the land of their ancient father, Jacob. Why only a remnant?
Only beginning to surface today is the knowledge that some people holding important positions, some wealthy elites, some in Hollywood, and other people are part of a depraved practice involving pedophilia, human trafficking and adrenochrome use. Some, possibly more than what can be known are corporation and social media personnel participating in heinous crimes. These violations bring the death sentence under the law of our LORD God.
“When you enter the land that the LORD your God is giving you, do not imitate the detestable ways of the nations, there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, practices divination or conjury, interprets omens, practices sorcery, cast spells, consults a medium or spiritist, or inquires of the dead. For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD. And because of these detestable things, the LORD your God is driving out the nations before you. You must be blameless before the LORD your God. Though these nations, which you will dispossess, listen to conjurers and diviners, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so” (Deuteronomy 18:9-14).
The LORD our God is very specific. The reason why the nations were involved in heinous practices was because the heavenly rulers over them commanded them to do it. It is long-forgotten knowledge how the nations became subjects to heavenly rulers, gods. In ancient times it was common knowledge; today it is nothing more than a myth. This knowledge is critical to understanding much of the Old Testament and it is the knowledge that will awaken God’s people in a fright on the day of their arrival on earth.
The nations were given heavenly rulers at the time of Babel, when they had begun to rebel against God. These heavenly rulers were once righteous, legal experts of God’s law. However, they became proud and it festered into arrogance and they fell into the unquenchable lust for power. They all taught their inherited nations to worship them. Some claimed to be the Creator God. The nations were trapped under the horrors demanded by their fallen heavenly rulers. When the LORD God said that His people must be blameless before Him, He is referring to their loyalty in serving Him only. To practice the rituals imposed on the nations by their rebel heavenly rulers, is treasonous before the LORD God of Israel because He only is the Creator God, the only One to worship. The people of the nations adhered to the practices imposed on them, each believing their heavenly ruler was a righteous god.
It was a time of great confusion. God’s plan was to establish His people as a model nation, but they craved to be like the nations who grew to become powerful and rich. The God of Israel was training His people to become a humble and serving, holy kingdom of royal priests. Ancient Israel craved for power, self-glory, self-direction and self-reliance. God let them go, for a time, to chase their cravings and experience the curses of disobedience.
Many of God’s people today have long since walked away from God. Some live perpetually reaching out for financial gain through any means. And some in doing so, entered into serving the dark forces operating in the shadows. They are treasonous before the LORD God. These people have exchanged their offer of eternal life in the holy, royal, ruling God-family kingdom to living, for a pittance of time, in opulence gained through dark and underhanded means. Others are slaves tethered to every-day survival. These people are the pawns of the elite; they are fed lies and propaganda; they are used and abused; they are lost spiritually.
A time is coming, on our near horizon, when Satan and his rebel coalition are thrown out of heaven and their alien arrival on earth is seen by all of mankind. In that instant, mankind will understand the power of the rebel, heavenly forces. The servitude suffered in ancient times by the nations, will become their reality. This deadly, powerful coalition will demand worship, idol-making, magic arts, sexual immorality and thefts (Revelation 9:20-21). Their goal will be to totally annihilate all of mankind.
“If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short” (Matthew 24:22).
This time on earth will be like no other time. It will be nothing like any of the world wars or terrifying battles in history. It will involve rebel, heavenly rulers thrown out of heaven. They remain exceedingly powerful compared to human capabilities. It will be the time when God’s people awaken to their original identity. The evil forces that arrive know the people of God and they will make them the target when demonstrating to the nations a sample of their power.
“For at that time there will be great tribulation, unmatched from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again” (Matthew 24:21).
The nations will surrender. “They worshiped the dragon who had given authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can wage war against it?” (Revelation 13:4)
Many from the West, Western Europe and the Jews will submit and re-enter into the making and worshipping of idols. This practice has long since been considered a ritual of the people believing in myths; it will be rebirthed and embraced worldwide. Many of God’s people will be swept up into serving the beastly coalition and participating in their alien technology and promises of building back better governments, worldwide.
During this tyrannical reign of rebel rulers from heaven, God’s people will be targeted. It will be the time of Jacob’s trouble. Some of God’s people will fall to their knees before these rebel rulers in order to obtain favours and a position of power. God will be testing and purging His people. A remnant will remain.
“‘In the whole land,’ declares the LORD, ‘two-thirds will be struck down and perish; yet one-third I will bring into the fire, I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘the LORD is our God’” (Zechariah 13:8-9).
On that day, the LORD God said, “I will banish the names of the idols from the land, and they will be remembered no more” (Zechariah 13:2). The LORD God of Israel will scrub and remove every name of the rebel heavenly rulers worshipped by mankind. They will never be remembered. The names of the days of the week and months of the year will be sanitized. No longer will the names of the Anglo-Saxon and Western Europe gods be spoken. “Wednesday” named after Woden, Old English name for Odin—Germanic god, will not have his name on the middle day of the work week. The goddess Frigg, will have her name eradicated. “Friday” will be renamed. The Norse god of thunder, Thor, will also have his name expunged from the calendar. Thor’s day, “Thursday” will be renamed. The months of the year will also be scrubbed and every name of the rebel heavenly gods will be removed.
Almighty God remains the supreme King over His people: Judah and Israel. At the time of Babel, when He gave the nations heavenly rulers over them, He gave Himself the descendants of Jacob. He never abdicated from being King over them. They demanded a regent, a physical ruler, to reign over them during ancient times. Almighty God will return and sit on His throne over His people and appointment rulers according to their righteousness. King David will be resurrected and rule over all of Israel and Jesus Christ will reign above King David as King over all kings and Lord over all lords with him, his wife will rule.
God has many stories in the Bible that are a mirror of significant relationships and prophecies. The story of Hosea is a mirror of Almighty God and His relationship with the religious leadership of Jerusalem imaged in Gomer, Hosea’s wife. God told Hosea to marry a promiscuous woman. The religious leadership flirted and engaged intimately with the theological practices of the nations around them in the Middle East. They craved prestige and power. The rebel heavenly gods were giving their ministry access to heavenly powers through magic arts. This pricy exchange bought them under the wiles of treasonous heavenly powers.
Gomer gave birth to three children: Jezreel, a son; Lo-Ruhamah, a daughter born in harlotry; Lo-Ammi, a son born in harlotry. Each of these three children are a prophecy of Israel’s rebellion against God and His work with them as a master Potter.
The kingdoms of ancient Israel both collapsed and God brought them into captivity because of their relentless rebellion against Him. Into the 21st century, God’s people have again waned and many departed from Him. Jacob’s trouble will be a time of great distress for His people. Their focus is away from God. The people are trapped in the worries of survival, deep in debit, battling with sickness. Judeo-Christian synagogues and churches are in a deep slumber.
God will test His people and purge the unrepentant, save a remnant who return to Him and preserve the remnant who were waning and falling back. The remnant who are saved and those who are preserved will be brought home, back to the land of their ancient forefather, Jacob, where God will sow them, that is, He will establish them.
The focus of Hosea’s life is the history and future of specifically the ten tribes, the house of Israel. The three children from Gomer embody a prophecy for God’s people from ancient times into the 21st century. God’s penmanship is an intricate wonder.
1. Jezreel, a son
2. Lo-Ruhamah, a daughter born in harlotry
3. Lo-Ammi, a son born in harlotry
1. Jezreel reminds God’s people throughout the ages, that it will take much blood shed for the houses of Israel to repent. A short reminder, Hosea’s life was a mirror on earth of God’s relationship with His church, Jerusalem—a priesthood, who flirted with the churches of the rebel nations ruled by fallen sons of God. They adopted pagan beliefs, practices and rituals to serve these rebel gods for their own desires. Jezreel was the name God told Hosea to name his first son. The name means “to scatter” or “to sow.” In this case, Jezreel means both because God will scatter and sow them.
Jezreel symbolizes the harsh conditions that bring repentance to a stubborn, rebel people. In ancient times, God brought both houses into captivity because of their rebellion against Him. The house of Israel did not repent after their captivity. They were sentenced by God seven times their original judgement of 360 years. They wandered Asia Minor into Western Europe for 2, 520 years. During that time, after they had experienced enough pain and suffering from the curses of disobedience, like the prodigal son, they repented and begged to return to the Father. The kingdoms of Israel remain today separate nations, each with their own language, but a reunification is prophesied by God. The reunification is the sowing together of the kingdom and planting back in their original homeland. Only after they truly repent, will God restore the kingdom of Israel.
The Valley of Jezreel was a fertile plain in ancient times and today. It was where many battles of the house of Israel took place against neighbouring people and from within their kingdom. It was a strategic location, a trade route. Its name is well-fitting for God to mirror the crucial battles that result in so much pain, suffering and spiritual death for some, as God crushes His rebel people to humble them and then, mold them into God-fearing and God-serving people who bear the rich fruit of righteousness. The fertile plain of Jezreel was ideal for growing crops, but little could be harvested when battles ravaged the land. This mirror is exactly God’s message to His wayward people. When living in sin, hatred and disobedience against God, the rich harvest of His word and law that leads to righteousness and peace is destroyed.
Hosea 1:4 describes God’s judgement on the battles He fought, through his servants, to end evil, warn His people, and purge them of their unrelenting wickedness.
“Name him Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will visit the bloodshed of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and I will cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease” (Hosea 1:4).
The wording of this scripture has caused some confusion of its meaning. King Jehu fulfilled God’s order to bring a total end to the reign of King Ahab’s family-line. It was a bloody event and painful for God to endure, but it was righteous judgement. The house of Israel, even through the reign of King Jehu’s sons who ruled after him to the fourth generation, did not rule righteously. God vowed to end the monarchy in the house of Israel. Their unrelenting sinful behaviour and stubborn mindset, and continual failure to sincerely return to Him and obey His law had reached the boiling point.
After thousands of years of sin that has brought so much pain, suffering and death symbolized in the name, Jezreel—God will scatter, but a new day is coming—the day of Jezreel. God’s poetry is a marvel. The name Jezreel is both a judgement and a blessing.
It is on our near horizon, when 21st century nations of Israel will unite together and humbly bend their knee before the Almighty God. A remnant will return. God will bring them back home safely and settle them in the promised Holy Land, symbolized in the name, Jezreel—God sows. On that day, both houses of Israel: Judah—the Jews and Israel—the West and Western Europe will re-unite. Together, they will truly call out to God and He will hear them.
“Then the people of Judah [the Jews] and Israel [the West and Western Europe] will unite together. They will choose one leader for themselves, and they will return from exile together. What a day that will be—the day of Jezreel—when God will again plant his people in his land” (Hosea 1:11).
The plains are often God’s image of a pathway without obstacles. Zechariah recorded the LORD Almighty saying, “What are you, O mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of “God bless it! God bless it” (Zechariah 4:7).
The mighty mountain God is referring to, are the superpower forces across the earth controlling all of the world’s governments. It is imaged in the great statue in the book of Daniel. A level ground will appear; all of the barriers to obeying God will be gone; all of the toe-stubbing stones—the lying media, the bullying national leaders, the puppeted scholars and educators, and the false and wayward religious leaders will all be crushed.
2. Lo-Ruhamah, Hosea’s daughter, mirrors the religious leadership specifically the churches of the ten tribes, the house of Israel, who struggle to grow in God’s knowledge. Theologians have difficulty removing the old pagan traditions and returning to the pure word of God written in both the Old and New Testament. Christians spend more focus on the scriptures in the New Testament. The Old Testament is a wealth of knowledge that provides the reasons for God’s actions from ancient times into the present.
God said that Lo-Ruhamah is not loved by Him. The theological doctrines of this daughter church of their mother, Jerusalem, are incomplete. They resemble the Laodicean group in Revelation who believe that they have a full understanding of the scriptures and what they are teaching is the pure word of God. Yet, the Laodicean’s are blind to their ignorance; their nakedness is their ungodly behaviours, and their walk is not with Jesus because he is standing at their door knocking to come in to teach them the pure word of God.
While the Laodicean group are in need of growth, Jesus offers those who overcome rulership with him. This is a great honour and a reflection of their value before God.
God’s Holy Days were given to His people to be kept for all generations. The Holy Days are a memorial, a celebration and a permanent statute. “And this day will be a memorial for you, and you are to celebrate it as a feast to the LORD, as a permanent statute for the generations to come” (Exodus 12:14).
Almighty God has woven His transparency of His saving-plan for His people and all of mankind into His Holy Days. Every Holy Day, in its sequence, maps every crucial step to the saving of mankind. To alter or remove any of God’s Holy Days or to keep them on the different day or month in the wrong way will push God’s transparency into the dark.
Christians have modified their ancient pagan customs to celebrate in their Saviour, Jesus Christ in a way that was not recognized by Almighty God. Easter is an example where the Christians try to remember the death and resurrection of Christ on the cross with easter bunnies, eggs and hot cross buns. Christ’s birth is celebrated on December 25th with decorating a tree and exchanging gifts. Christ was not born on December 25th. God commanded His people to keep His Holy Days exactly as He has had them recorded in Leviticus 23. God will not draw close to a theological body that is not cleansed of their pagan customs, their twists and turns applied to doctrines and the pride in assuming that they can change what God has ordained as permanent.
3. Lo-Ammi mirrors the national leadership who have little or no relationship with Almighty God. They lack humility; they grapple continually for power; they aspire for self-glory, self-reliance, self-direction and superpower status. They engage in all sorts of corruption in every department at every level. Technology has deepened and broadened their grip over the people: spying and manipulating their thoughts and decisions. Lawless leadership, lying, propagandizing, over-taxing, misuse of the tax-payers money, serving for personal financial gain does not reflect God’s leadership style. Worst of all are those who are aware of the dark practices of many politicians and wealthy elites, and do nothing to expose them and purge government of their scandalous activities. God said that they are not His people. They do not reflect God’s “servant of all” mindset and self-sacrificing work to care for the people.
Today, there is a movement to clean out the swamp within government at every level. Still in the early stages, it is leading to Christ’s command to the Thyatira group of people in Revelation not to “tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess” (Revelation 2:20). Dark practices take place secretly among certain politicians and government leaders, judges, civic leaders that are symbolized in Jezebel, the ancient queen over the house of Israel. She took command that wasn’t hers to take; she used the seal of the king, King Ahab, to execute commands. She introduced heinous rituals that corrupted the house of Israel causing them to incorporate pagan customs with what the God of Israel had given them.
Fortunately, God prophesied that His people will repent. Into the 21st century, a time of great distress will come and they will be the target of attack by the fallen, rebel beastly coalition.
Confused for a time, they will come to know their roots and the reason for their hardship. They will repent and change to live righteously under the law of God.
“The remnant of Israel will no longer do wrong or speak lies, nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouths. [They will repent.] But they will feed and lie down, with no one to make them tremble” (Zephaniah 3:13).
Leadership of both the church and state will repent. “In the place where it was said to them ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called ‘children of the living God.’ The people of Judah and the people of Israel will be reunited, and they will appoint one leader and will come up out of the land, for great will be the day of Jezreel. ‘Say of your brothers, ‘My people,’ and of your sisters, ‘My loved one’” (Hosea 1:10- 2:1).
There isn’t a group of people who have been so treacherous to their God than the people of both houses of Israel. It is the hope that their repentance brings the greatest and most binding love for their Redeemer as the story of the woman told by Jesus in Luke.
“‘Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?’ Simon replied, ‘I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled.’ ‘You have judged correctly,’ Jesus said. Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, ‘Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but this woman from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing me feet. You did not put oil on my head but she has poured perfume on my feet. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little’” (Luke 7:41-47).
The wayward house of Israel will awaken to their sins. They will say, “Assyria cannot save us, we will not mount war-horses. We will never say ‘Our gods’...” (Hosea 14:3). "Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, that we may live before Him” (Hosea 6:1-2).
Hosea references Assyria because nations who don’t trust in the Almighty God for protection, look for support from neighbouring superpowers, their own military and fallen heavenly gods. The ancient house of Israel—the northern ten tribes, understood Hosea’s reference to Assyria. Into the 21st century, Christians overlook this reference because the kingdom of Assyria was destroyed all ago. However, Almighty God references Assyria in Hosea 14 because in the latter days, a powerful heavenly force, like the force over Assyria in ancient times, will rise up. The West and Western Europe may find themselves trying to be allies with this Assyria-like force. They will regret their attempt to partner with it.
God Almighty is molding His wayward wanderers who are lost and confused into a pliable form that will serve Him, forever.
The next Assyria-like force to come will be used by God to humble His people. While Almighty God will allow this dark force to punish His people, He is also very much aware of its thoughts of the total annihilation of His people.
“Woe to the Assyrian, the rod of my anger, in whose hand is the club of my wrath! I send him against a godless nation, I dispatch him against a people who anger me, to seize loot and snatch plunder, and to trample them down like mud in the streets. But this not what he intends, this is not what he has in mind; his purpose is to destroy, to put an end to many nations…. When the Lord has finished all his work against Mount Zion and Jerusalem, he will say ‘I will punish the king of Assyria for the willful pride of his heart and the haughty look in his eyes. For he says: ‘By the strength of my hand I have done this, and by my wisdom, because I have understanding. I removed the boundaries of nations, I plundered their treasures; like a mighty one I subdued their kings. As one reaches into a nest, so my hand reached for the wealth of the nations; as men gather abandoned eggs, so I gathered all the countries; not one flapped a wing, or opened its mouth to chirp’” (Isaiah 10:5-8, 12-14).
The destruction and death of God’s people that will take place will be terrifying. A remnant will turn to Almighty God.
“In that day the remnant of Israel, the survivors of the house of Jacob will no longer rely on him who struck them down but will truly rely on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel. A remnant will return, a remnant of Jacob will return to the Mighty God. Though your people, O Israel, be like the sand of the sea, only a remnant will return. Destruction has been decreed, overwhelming and righteous. [when God says that destruction is righteous, it is because they deserve the punishment.] The Lord, the LORD Almighty, will carry out the destruction decreed upon the whole land. Therefore, this is what the Lord, the LORD Almighty, says: ‘O my people who live in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrians, who beat you with a rod and lift up a club against you, as Egypt did. Very soon my anger against you will end and my wrath will be directed to their destruction. The LORD Almighty will lash them with a whip, as when he struck down Midian at the rock of Oreb; and he will raise his rod over the waters, as he did in Egypt. In that day their burden will be lifted from your shoulders, their yoke from your neck; the yoke will be broken because you have grown so fat” (Isaiah 10:20-27).
The remnant will mature spiritually which is imaged in storing a healthy amount of fat in contrast of being pale and skinny. Notice in Isaiah 10:20, God refers to the remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob. Both the remnant of Israel and the survivors of Jacob were relying on the rebel beastly coalition for a time during Jacob’s trouble—the Great Tribulation.
God responds to His people’s cries, “I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them. I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily. Like a cedar of Lebanon, he will send down his roots; his young shoots will grow. His splendor will be like an olive tree, his fragrance like a cedar of Lebanon. Men will dwell again in his shade. He will flourish like the grain. He will blossom like a vine, and his fame will be like the wine of Lebanon. O Ephraim, what more have I to do with idols? I will answer him and care for him. I am like a green pine tree; your fruitfulness comes from me” (Hosea 14:3-8).
The 21st century house of Israel will wake up and listen. They will have had enough of wickedness: the pain and suffering of being robbed, being used and abused, and cruelly tethered and bound by the rebel rulers from heaven.
“Who is wise? He will realize these things. Who is discerning? He will understand them. The ways of the LORD are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them” (Hosea 14:9).
God foretold the repentance of the ten nations of 21st century Israel. “They will follow the LORD; he will roar like a lion. When he roars, his children will come trembling from the west” (Hosea 11:10).
Though He pushed them by the east wind all the way into the west far from Him, He watched them over time return, like the prodigal son, weeping in shame. “In the place [the West and Western Europe] where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called ‘children of the living God.’ The people of Judah and the people of Israel will be reunited” (Hosea 1:10).
God’s penmanship is an engineering feat. He knew the end from the beginning. He has mirrored prophesied end-time events into the significant history of His people to provide details otherwise unknown.
Prior to the exodus of the ancient Israelites, the God of Israel brought upon ancient Egypt ten plagues. These ten plagues taught the Egyptians that the God of Israel reigns supreme both on a national level as King and on a religious level as Highest Priest.
When Satan and one-third of the angels, his allies, are thrown out of heaven and arrive on earth, people on earth will be taken by surprise. The existence of gods ruling over the nations have been gradually mythicized since their overthrow by Christ two thousand years ago. Mankind will not be ready for what is coming. Rebel heavenly rulers will arrive and take rulership on earth. The battle in heaven will come down to earth. Almighty God and Jesus Christ will take their positions. God’s people will be pushed onto centre stage when they become the target of their wrath and they subdue twelve nations on earth. Jacob’s trouble will begin. Despite the great fall of twelve nations, the Almighty God remains in-charge. He will humble His people into pliable servants as only a Master Potter can do.
In ancient times, Joseph played the key role of Jesus in his lifetime. He said to his brothers, “But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance” (Genesis 45:7).
Joseph was sent ahead of his brothers to accomplish two tasks:
1. To preserve for God’s people the remnant
2. To save the lives of God’s people by a great deliverance, an exodus
The remnant that will be preserved are the people who are overcoming and growing spiritually. This group do not include the people in the first resurrection who are Christ’s bride, but rather mirrored in the parable of the ten virgins as the wise who will attend the wedding of Christ as guests. The people who will be saved, are those in the parable who are the foolish, yet God will have compassion on them and save them. The foolish are referred to as Jacob and the wise are awarded the name of Israel.
Those God refers to as Jacob will be saved. “For the LORD will have compassion on Jacob and will again choose Israel, and will set them in their own land, and sojourners will join them and will attach themselves to the house of Jacob” (Isaiah 14:1).
Without God’s Holy Spirit, His people remain nothing more than a dying creation. With God’s Holy Spirit, their stubborn mind softens, allowing God to mold them into a righteous God-fearing and God-serving people.
“But now, this is what the LORD says—he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine (Isaiah 43:1).
The people described in Isaiah as Jacob are God’s people who are slow to start growing spiritually. Jacob’s name was changed to Israel after he wrestled with the angel of the LORD who is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. There, Jacob experienced a powerful revelation. It was a precious moment when he changed from being merely aware of God to fully knowing Him and dedicating his life then and forever to serving and obeying Him. This is the powerful revelation the Jacob people will experience during the Great Tribulation—Jacob’s trouble.
“Yes, he struggled with the angel and prevailed; he wept and sought His favor; he found Him at Bethel and spoke with Him there— the LORD is the God of Hosts—the LORD is His name of renown” (Hosea 12:4-5).
What Hosea said in Hosea 12 is this. Jacob found the LORD, High Priest. He came to understand the priestly side of the powerful Great God—the LORD. Jacob spoke to the angel who gave him the understanding of the LORD. He is the Highest Priest full of compassion, kindness, patience, grace and love. This LORD is the God of a great army—of hosts. His name was revealed, Yahweh [YHUH] and is the name to be memorialized.
Joseph’s two-fold task was to preserve the overcomers who are not part of Christ’s bride and the save the people who are babes in Christ. A great scattering will take place, which will result in a great gathering.
The greatest exodus of all time and one that will be remembered forever by everyone on earth is the future exodus of multi, multi millions of God’s people rescued from every direction on earth. This exodus will be the great witness to all the nations on earth that will exalt the God of Israel before the nations of the world as the supreme God of all creation. The rebel beastly coalition of rulers thrown out of heaven who initiate the Great Tribulation, will be finally acknowledged by the people on earth as the rebels and traitors that they are.
There are so many end-time prophecies recorded in the Old Testament. Jeremiah recorded God prophecy of a return to slavery and a second rescue. “It will no longer be said, ‘As the LORD lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘As the LORD lives, who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north and from all the countries where He had banished them.’ For I will restore them to their own land which I gave to their fathers” (Jeremiah 16:14-15, Jeremiah 23:7-8).
The upcoming exodus will be a hundred times bigger than the first exodus and cover the whole earth.
“I will gather you and your children from east and west and from north and south. I will bring my sons and daughters back to Israel from the distant corners of the earth” (Isaiah 43:6).
The God of Israel will part every ocean and every sea necessary to get His people home. The whole world will witness supernatural events that will shatter their ignorance and forge an eternal pathway for all of mankind to come to know their Creator, the Almighty God—the LORD.
“The LORD will devote to destruction the gulf of the Sea of Egypt; with a scorching wind He will sweep His hand over the Euphrates. He will split it into seven streams for men to cross with dry sandals. There will be a highway for the remnant of His people who remain from Assyria, as there was for Israel when they came up from the land of Egypt” (Isaiah 11:15-16).
God’s promise to His people is absolute. God’s plan for His people cannot be thwarted.
"I will surely bring my people back again from all the countries where I will scatter them in my fury. I will bring them back to this very city and let them live in peace and safety." (Jeremiah 32:37)
While the book of Hosea has a primary focus on the prophecies of the house of Israel who are the ancient northern kingdom of Israel, the house of Judah—the Jews, will awaken to Jesus Christ as their Saviour, then Almighty God will retrieve the remnant of the house of Judah at the same time that He rescues the remnant of the house of Israel.
“And the surviving remnant of the house of Judah will again take root below and bear fruit above. For a remnant will go forth from Jerusalem, and survivors from Mount Zion. The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will accomplish this” (Isaiah 37:31-32).
The remnant from both houses will be gathered to one location. Today, there is approximately 900 million people from all twelve nations of Israel. A remnant will return to God. It may be only around 200 million people.
“I will surely gather all of you, O Jacob; I will collect the remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in the midst of its pasture—a noisy throng” (Micah 2:12).
When gathered, they will be a nosy throng indicating a very large number of them. God gathers Jacob and collects the remnant of Israel. God’s use of words is intentional. When God gathers Jacob, He will bring together people who are scattered throughout the nations. They are brought together in a sweeping fashion mirroring the beginnings of their spiritual growth—they are scattered and not organized or keeping God’s commandments. Being organized is a mirror of keeping God’s commandments.
When God collects the remnant of Israel, He is carefully selecting the overcomers with care. They are a treasure in His sight; they are an orderly group, keeping His commandments and walking righteously.
The two groups of God-fearing and God-serving people will be made strong by God and go out as a very small army to fight against the world-ruling dark forces. This upcoming battle will be another David and Goliath event. This event will showcase the great strength of the Almighty God against the rebel heavenly rulers on earth. With the supreme strength of Almighty God, God’s people will destroy the vast army of Wickedness. After being mocked and ridiculed by the people in the nations, they will be revered at the fall of Goliath.
“All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you. Do not be afraid, O worm Jacob, O little Israel, for I myself will help you,” declares the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. See, I will make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth. You will thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff. You will winnow them, the wind will pick them up, and a gale will blow them away. But you will rejoice in the LORD and glory in the Holy One of Israel” (Isaiah 41:12-16).
God does not forget; He does not fail to keep His promises. “He [Almighty God] remembers his covenant forever, the word he commanded, for a thousand generation, the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac. He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree to Israel as an everlasting covenant: To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit” (Psalm 105:9-11).
Both the Jacob people and the Israel people will rejoice and be glad when God blesses them. “Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!” (Psalm 14:7)
The millennial reign of Jesus Christ will permanently change the world. Righteousness will rule. Justice will prevail. Love will abound. God’s people will all overcome and Jacob will fade to become Israel. “In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit” (Isaiah 27:6). The people of Israel will be a showcase of living righteously, the centre of the knowledge of God’s word, the source of understanding between that which is right and wrong, and the priests and priestesses of God’s wisdom who can see deep into the mind of God.
God is assembling a new government of faithful and loyal men and women. They will be humble, God-fearing and God-serving people.
God’s centre of law and order located in heaven is named Lebanon. This centre will come down to earth.
“In a very short time, will not Lebanon be turned into a fertile field and the fertile field seem like a forest?” (Isaiah 29:17) All of God’s great experts in His law in heaven rebelled against Him. They became proud and arrogant. God is rebuilding His centre of law and order and filling all of those positions, once held by mighty sons of God, will be awarded to the saints, soon resurrected men and women.
The future of God’s people and the people from all of the nations will be glorious. Foretold is the humble worship of people from all languages, tribes and nations. “The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree; he will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. PLANTED IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD, they will flourish in theCOURTS OF OUR GOD. They will still yield fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and very green” (Psalm 92:12-15).
God’s people, righteous Israel, will set the example of living God’s way. Love, compassion, patience, kindness, goodness will be the standard of this kingdom of priests. “I [God] will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like the lily, and he will take root like the cedars of Lebanon. His shoots will sprout, and his beauty will be like the olive tree and his fragrance like the cedars of Lebanon” (Hosea 14:5-6).
With the outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit, His people will grow. They will stand tall like the regal lily and take root deep underground like the great cedar trees on earth. They will expand, establish branches, appoint strong leaders to manage all areas of government. Their leadership will get attention; it will be like the righteousness and humility of faithful priests who have been tried and tested and acknowledged to be true. These leaders will never be tempted to turn away from God; they hate wickedness and love righteousness.
The Jacob people will overcome and their name will be changed to Israel, then, all of Israel will live in peace as a model holy nation of royal priests. The nations of the world will see and ask how they can learn the ways of their Great Creator God and LORD.
“This is what God the LORD says—He who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and its offspring, who gives breath to the people on it and life to those who walk in it: ‘I, the LORD, have called you for a righteous purpose, and I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and appoint you to be a covenant for the people and a light to the nations’” (Isaiah 42:5-6).
The nations of the world will repent and come to know their Creator, the Great God—their LORD. “And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to serve him, to love the name of the LORD, and to worship him, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant—these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer… for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations” (Isaiah 56:6, 7b).
Almighty God, the Great Creator, has always been King over all creation. Almighty God was offering rulership to the members in His courts in heaven. They were highly skilful and rich in knowledge, but all of them failed to rule over the nations righteously. These heavenly rulers could have ruled with the Son of God who was the only successful heir. Much of mankind has lived in confusion, resulting in continuing the ways taught by the rebel heavenly gods. The millennial reign of Jesus Christ will correct the ways of this evil age and a new age of righteousness will reign forever under the tested and proven true Son of God, King over all kings and Lord over all lords.
When all creation on earth understands the truth and the relentless attacks on them by the rebel rulers from heaven, they bend their knee before their Creator, their God, their LORD. They will never return to living in darkness when the glorious light shines upon them and within them.
