PART 1
God’s penmanship is exquisite. His language is a journey beyond mortality into the vast wonders of eternity. His message to all of mankind is clearly preserved in His Holy Days, mirrored in His covenant people, and reflected in His stories of people: their conversations, their healings, their journeys, their everyday lives recorded in the Holy Bible to reveal a precious promise of salvation that is gift wrapped with the great honour of being a member of His holy, royal, ruling God-family.
MOTHERS OF JACOB’S TWELVE SONS
LEAH: Jacob was tricked into marrying her, yet, she believed by being the older of the two daughters of Laban, that she was entitled to be married to Jacob.
“But Leah replied, “Is it not enough that you have taken away my husband? Now you want to take my son’s mandrakes as well?” “Very well,” said Rachel, “he may sleep with you tonight in exchange for your son’s mandrakes” (Genesis 30:15).
Women mirror a church. Leah, mirrors an entitled church. In addition, Leah’s eyes were weak (Genesis 29:17). She mirrors a church who has difficulty seeing the path of righteousness. She was not strong in her mental and spiritual capacities.
RACHEL: She was a beautiful shepherdess. Jacob loved her from the moment he saw her. He worked for her, so that he could marry her. She mirrors the theological body that God the Father established on earth in His people that would conceive and birth a congregation fit for the kingdom. He has waited a long time to witness the fruits of His spirit.
Rachel did not conceive until Leah and the handmaids stopped conceiving. During her barren years, she felt disgraced. An experience of the ancient prophets of whom God loved. They served God and died an untimely death before witnessing the fruits of their labour.
ZILPAH and BILAH: They were handmaids of Leah and Rachel. They mirror churches not originally married into the family, but brought in from outside by the two theological bodies within, who conceive congregations that will bring forth children of God.
The twelve sons of Jacob from four different theological bodies form the core of God’s people whose lives and journeys tell a drama-filled spiritual walk from infancy into matured children of God.
ZILPAH and BILAH were handmaids of Leah and Rachel.
Matthew recorded in Matthew 2:7, 12. King Herod asked the chief priests and teachers of the law where the Messiah, their Saviour—the one who would become King was to be born. They replied, “In Bethlehem in Judea.” “Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared… they went on their way… and having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.”
The last prophet, the one mirrored in Joseph was in danger.
Matthew continued the story. “When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he head learned from the Magi. Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled: ‘A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more” (Matthew 2:16-18).
Spiritual Rachel distraught because her spiritual children are not in safety.
All of the prophets who truly cared for God’s people and fed them with the nutritious pure word of God died untimely deaths before seeing the fruit of their labour.
GOD ALMIGHTY has promised RACHEL that her righteous children will return to the Holy Land (Jeremiah 31:16). Her last son, Benjamin, upon birth was immediately taken under the direct care of Jacob who mirrored in this chapter of his life, the protective body of God Almighty.
BENJAMIN MIRRORS A BELOVED GROUP OF PEOPLE
Moses blessed the tribes and of Benjamin he said, “Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders” (Deuteronomy 33:12)
Benjamin mirrors the BELOVED body of people born out of the loved-by-God theological body mirrored as Rachel. This ministry truly cares for their congregation and teaches them the pure word of God. They are those tasked to Joseph to preserve.
BENJAMIN MISUNDERSTOOD BY HIS BROTHERS
Both in ancient times, throughout time and into the 21st century, the BELOVED people have been and will be misunderstood. Into the 21st century, Christ will give them his silver cup of authority and they will suffer, as they bring their brothers back to Christ to give an account of their betrayal of Joseph who mirrored Jesus.
Future events will reveal another betrayal. As Peter denied Jesus three times, so a body of people like Peter will deny Christ.
THE SILVER CUP FOUND IN BENJAMIN’S BAG: IS A CUP OF AUTHORITY
JOSEPH REVEALS HIMSELF
Emotions flow:
JOSEPH AND JESUS BOTH SENT AHEAD TO:
FOR THE MOST PART, THE JEWS REJECTED JESUS, THEIR MESSIAH. AS A RESULT:
“What Israel (the Jews) sought so earnestly it did not obtain, but the elect did. The others were hardened… God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes so that they could not see and ears so that they could not hear, to this very day” (Romans 11:7-8).
Jesus suffered willingly to pay the price for mankind. “No one takes it from Me, but I LAY IT DOWN OF MY OWN ACCORD. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from My Father” (John 10:18).
Jesus was sent ahead to:
SAVED BY A GREAT DELIVERANCE TWO TIMES
1. Out of Egypt in ancient times
2. A future rescue that will be a great exodus that will surpass the first exodus out of Egypt.
YET FUTURE EVENT: “It will no longer be said, ‘As the LORD lives, who brought up the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘As the LORD lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of the north and from all the countries where He had banished them.’ For I will restore them to their own land which I gave to their fathers” (Jeremiah 16:14-15, Jeremiah 23:7-8).
The “Benjamin” people will rise up out of nowhere just as Benjamin was brought from under the protection of his father, Jacob to come before Joseph, who mirrors Jesus.
While Benjamin is favoured by Joseph and the “Benjamin” people favoured there is a dark side to the Benjamin story. His story is silent until all Israel battles against his crimes of sexual obscenity and perversion and he is nearly wiped out (Gibeah).
It all began when a Levite traveling home with his concubine needed a place to stay overnight in Gibeah in Benjamin. An elderly man took them in and later that night, scoundrels surrounded the homeowner demanding the Levite so that they can have sex with him. The homeowner offered his virgin daughter and the Levite offered them his concubine.
Pastor Andrew Corbett tells the story, “After the men of Gibeah committed the most atrocious and unnatural sexual abuse of this Levite's concubine, she was left for dead. With her desperate fingers vainly attempting to reach the door of the house, where the one who should have been her protector was ignoring her anguished cries for help, she mercifully died in that pathetic posture.”
The concubine was raped and tortured. Leaving her body in such a state that even this ungodly and cowardly Levite was horrified that he cut her body into twelve parts, each part evident of the harm done to her, and sent these body parts to each tribe for judgment, sentencing and justice.
Pastor Andrew Corbett concluded, “Woe unto society where the godly - especially those charged by God to show leadership - fathers, pastors, politicians - fail to call evil evil or fail to promote the right and the good either for fear of the crowd or due to the ignorant idea that morality can be privatised ("Who are you to impose your morals on me!?").
The eleven tribes go to war against Benjamin because they will not release the scoundrels for judgement. Forty thousand men from Israel died on the first two days because Israel relied on their own strength to overthrow the Benjaminite warriors. The number 40,000 points to the loss of life that occurs when God’s people are not eternally close to Him.
On the third day, Israel cried out to God with fasting and went through God’s priesthood with sacrifices for God’s intervention and power. Twenty-six thousand, one hundred Benjaminites were killed leaving only 600 men. All women, children and the elderly died.
The tribe of Benjamin are not a people with an honourable history. They remain, like their brothers, tarnished with corruption, perversion and wickedness. Who then is the Benjamin mirrored in physical Benjamin the brother Joseph blessed generously?
BENJAMIN receives a meal 5 TIMES more than his brothers:
Benjamin mirrors:
A remnant is preserved.
A SPECIAL BODY OF MEN AND WOMEN:
BENJAMIN is the only brother who did not betray his brother, Joseph.
A mirroring of the prophets, the saints throughout time, and the Philadelphia who do not deny Jesus and Smyrna people who remained faithful and loyal during times of great distress.
Benjamin is going to devour those carnal doctrines that keep His sheep in bondage!
“In the morning he devours the enemy” = Truth brings light, hence the morning. When the enemy becomes visible, a clear target can be determined. Those living in darkness and believing in falsehood when be destroyed.
PHYSICAL TRIBE OF BENJAMIN WAS NEARLY DESTROYED; SPIRITUAL BENJAMIN WILL HAVE BEEN TESTED TO THE POINT OF DEATH.
The tribe of Benjamin was nearly destroyed when they protected the scoundrels who performed detestable rituals on a woman and left her for dead. They were a tribe noted for:
BENONI and BENJAMIN
In Rachel’s dying breath she names her son, Benoni, meaning “son of my sorrow”. Like the prophets who were killed by the national and religious leaders of their time, they died preaching God’s word and knowing that their intense suffering was a direct result of their attempts to birth a righteous congregation.
Jacob changed Benoni’s name to Benjamin, “son of my right hand”. The change was a direct action of God knowing the future and seeing the birth of righteous sons of God from the preserved words of the prophets of old and the apostles.
Benjamin mirrors the men and women who uphold the words of the prophets and the apostles. They do not add or take away from the word of God. They are a remnant people from all twelve tribes.
BENJAMIN LOVED BY GOD
“And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the LORD shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders” (Deuteronomy 33:12).
BENJAMIN IS A FAITHFUL BROTHER
“As he looked about and saw his brother Benjamin, his own mother’s son, he asked, ‘Is this your youngest brother, the one you told me about?’… Deeply moved at the sight of his brother, Joseph hurried out and looked for a place to weep. He went into his private room and wept there” (Genesis 43:29-30).
When it is time and the resurrection of the bride—a body of men and women throughout time who remained faithful during times of great persecution, is near and they come before Jesus, he will weep. These people come from the same “mother”—the church teaching the pure theology of God. She alone conceived and birthed a congregation fit for God’s kingdom without the joy of witnessing their spiritual growth. God Almighty brought these people into perfection by fiery trials and intense persecution.
“The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name” (Revelation 3:12).
RACHEL WEEPING: THE PROPHETS/PROPHETESSES, THE APOSTLES WEEPING
SUFFERING BRINGS PERFECTION. ALL, that is, ALL TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL WILL BE SAVED, not just Judah and Benjamin.
BENJAMIN LIVES IN THE BACKGROUND
JOSEPH’S BROTHERS FORCED TO RETURN FOR FOOD
A time of trouble will expose and force a deep and sincere self-reflection:
LEADERS OF THE TWELVE TRIBES OF ISREAL
Rachel mirrors the loved church.
Her children born last:
Leah and Jacob’s concubines mirror the churches of the Israelites throughout time who had difficulty seeing God’s way.
Their children:
Joseph two sons are adopted into the covenant family not as descendants from Joseph but as equal brothers.
These adopted boys mirror the nations of the world birthed from a pagan church, but through Christ’s sacrifice, they are brought into the covenant family of God.
All of mankind will be called by God. All of mankind will be saved who accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour and obey the Great Creator God.
What spiritual story is woven into the life of Benjamin?
What story is God revealing through Benjamin to those who seek the deep things of God?
Joseph provides clues to identifying spiritual Benjamin.
“God sent me before you to preserve you as a remnant on the earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance. Therefore it was not you who sent me here, but God, who has made me a father to Pharaoh—lord of all his household and ruler over all the land of Egypt” (Genesis 45:7-8).
Joseph who mirrors Jesus is given a TWO-FOLD task:
Who is the REMNANT?
“Go, inquire of the Lord for me and for those who are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book which has been found; for great is the wrath of the Lord which is poured out on us because our fathers have not observed the word of the Lord, to do according to all that is written in this book” (II Chronicles 34:21).
“But now for a brief moment grace has been shown from the Lord our God, to leave us an escaped remnant and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and grant us a little reviving in our bondage” (Ezra 9:8).
A REMNANT INTO THE 21ST CENTURY
“For though your people, O Israel, may be like the sand of the sea, only a REMNANT within them will return” (Isaiah 10:22).
“Then it will happen on that day that the Lord will again recover the second time with His hand the REMNANT of His people, who will remain, from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and from the islands of the sea” (Isaiah 11:11).
A REMNANT WILL BE PRESERVED
“And He will lift up a standard for the nations and assemble the banished ones of Israel and will gather the dispersed of Judah. From the four corners of the earth” (Isaiah 11:12).
“Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, you who have been borne by Me from birth and have been carried from the womb; even to your old age I will be the same, and even to your graying years I will bear you! I have done it, and I will carry you; and I will bear you and I will deliver you” (Isaiah 46:3-4).
BORN BY GOD [BORN AGAIN] AND CARRIED IN THE WOMB [PROTECTED PRIOR TO THE RESURRECTION]
This Remnant, like Benjamin is taken under the care of the Father – protected in the womb and borne by God and carried all the way into old age for a special task, witness and example.
Like Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5).
Into the 21st century, " So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace” (Romans 11:5).
THE PRESERVED REMNANT COME FROM: THE 10 TRIBES OF ISRAEL AND JUDAH
The 10 tribes were divorced and called ‘Not My People’. "Yet the Israelites will be like the sand on the seashore, which cannot be measured or counted. In the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called 'children of the living God’” (Hosea 1:10).
The house of Judah were NOT divorced. “So this is the situation: Most of the people of Israel [the Jews] have not found the favor of God they are looking for so earnestly. A few have—the ones God has chosen—but the hearts of the rest were hardened” (Romans 11:7).
The PRESERVED are different to the SAVED
ALL of Israel will be SAVED. “And so all Israel will be saved. As the scriptures say, “The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem, and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness” (Romans 11:26).
People from ALL nations will be SAVED. “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God” (Romans 8:14).
“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God–children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God” (John 1:12).
The PRESERVED are a called-out FEW, CHOSEN OVERCOMERS who enter into a blood covenant with God. They are known to God even before conception to serve Him on earth prior to the return of Christ to take the gospel into higher levels, to finish tasks to heavy for most, and risk their lives during times of extreme distress to save their people and the world. Where we go one, we go all.
Who is the Remnant Joseph PRESERVED?
THE TRIBE OF BENJAMIN HAS A DARK HISTORY
His story is silent until all Israel battles against his crimes of sexual obscenity and perversion and he is nearly wiped out (Gibeah).
BENJAMIN receives a meal 5 TIMES more than his brothers:
Mirrors a group of special people who will receive 5 TIMES more understanding and wisdom of God’s word.Like the prophets, the saints, the people of Philadelphia and Smyrna.
BENJAMIN BROUGHT OUT INTO THE LIGHT
A SPECIAL PEOPLE
COMMON CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST
THE LAW-KEEPERS OF REVELATION
“Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring—those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus” (Revelation 12:17).
“First of all, the Jews have been entrusted with the very words of God” (Romans 3:2).
The LAW KEEPERS of Revelation are from ALL 12 tribes of Israel, churches/synagogues keeping the words of God.
Benjamin: Like Joseph mirrors a SPIRITUAL BODY OF PEOPLE
BENJAMIN is the only brother who did not betray his brother, Joseph.
A mirroring of the prophets, the saints throughout time, and the Philadelphia who do not deny Jesus and Smyrna people who remained faithful and loyal during times of great distress.
“For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but to do the will of Him who sent Me. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of those He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day” (John 6:38-39).
PHILADELPHIA CHURCH DO NOT DENY CHRIST
“To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of the One who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door, which no one can shut. For you have only a little strength, yet you have kept My word and have not denied My name” (Revelation 3:7-8).
RACHEL: JOSEPH & BENJAMIN’S MOTHER
RACHEL: GOD’S LOVED PRIESTLY ORDER
“That my wife bore to me two (sons):” Jacob regards Rachel alone as his actual wife (cf. Genesis 46:19).
She was a shepherdess and mirrored the religious body who remained true to God’s ways. This body conceived and birthed righteous children.
She died after the birth of Benjamin, a fulfilled sentence when Jacob declared the death sentence on the one with the stolen idols. She mirrored a righteous church who became tainted with false worship. God Almighty brought that body to an end to continue the role of priest which opened to all when the veil in the temple was rent. Christ was the last prophet. From out of the prophets, a body of people learned God’s way and matured into righteous and faithful sons of God.
BENJAMIN, SHALL RAVEN LIKE A WOLF
“In the original manuscripts, the word "as" is not there. It was inserted by the translators. That makes a big difference! Benjamin is not the wolf — he is going after the wolf! That puts an entirely different perspective to the prophecy. "Benjamin shall ravin a wolf." What does that mean? "Ravin" means "to tear in pieces and feed." What is the "wolf" that he is attacking? The wolf is the beastly, carnal teachings of man’s system of religion. Benjamin is going to tear them to pieces and turn them into food for the hungry. He will tear down the beastly teachings of men’s carnal minds.” Elaine Cook
BENJAMIN: RELENTLESS WARRIORS
“Benjamin shall raven like a wolf; in the morning he devours the enemy, in the evening he divides the plunder” (Genesis 49:27).
The urgency of the times will bring in the Benjamin relentless warriors who will attack the enemy—those preaching lies, misconceptions, disinformation, misinformation and feed the pure truth of God’s word to those wanting to know God. They will feed the people God’s truth and confront with the aggression of a wolf, falsehood and destroy it.
BENJAMIN EXPOSES THE WOLVES
"As I live, said the Lord God, surely because my flock has become a prey and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was NO SHEPHERD, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and not my flocks . . . I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them” (Ezekiel 34:8, 10).
PHYSICAL Benjamin nearly destroyed
SPIRITUAL Benjamin will be tested and tried up to the point of death.
The mirroring of physical Benjamin and spiritual Benjamin will be manifested in a future event. These special people will manifest:
BENONI AND BENJAMIN
In Rachel’s dying breath she names her son, Benoni, meaning “son of my sorrow”. Like the prophets who were killed by the national religious leaders of their time, they died preaching God’s word and knowing that their intense suffering was a direct result of their attempts to birth a righteous congregation.
Jacob changed Benoni’s name to Benjamin, “son of my right hand”. The change was a direct action of God who foresees the future and the glorious birth of righteous sons of God from the preserved words of the prophets of old and the apostles.
Benjamin mirrors the men and women who uphold the words of the prophets and the apostles. They do not add or take away from the word of God. They are a remnant people from all twelve tribes.
BENJAMIN LOVED BY GOD
“And of Benjamin he said, ‘The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the LORD shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders’” (Deuteronomy 33:12).
BENJAMIN: Joseph’s brother, Christ’s bride
“As he looked about and saw his brother Benjamin, his own mother’s son, he asked, ‘Is this your youngest brother, the one you told me about?’… Deeply moved at the sight of his brother, Joseph hurried out and looked for a place to weep. He went into his private room and wept there” (Genesis 43:29-30).
When it is time and the resurrection of the bride—a body of men and women throughout time who remain faithful during times of great persecution, is near and they come before Jesus, he will weep. These people come from the same “mother”—the church teaching the pure theology of God. THREE NAMES WRITTEN
“The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name” (Revelation 3:12).
RACHEL WEEPING: THE PROPHETS/PROPHETESSES, APOSTLES
This is what the LORD says: “A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children, and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more. This is what the LORD says: “Keep your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for the reward for your work will come, declares the LORD. Then your children will return from the land of the enemy” (Jeremiah 31:15-16).
SUFFERING BRINGS PERFECTION. ALL, that is, ALL TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL WILL BE SAVED, not just Judah and Benjamin.
JACOB’S TROUBLE
During a time of great distress, 21st century Israel, that is, ALL TWELVE TRIBES will be forced to self-reflect. Jews and Christians will return to the Bible to study all that they have missed for over 2,000 years.
“‘You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.”
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcome and sat down with my Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 3:17-22).
